Back-end LAMP Web Developer
Zenana Entertainment is an international entertainment company based in Barcelona. We currently run a number of websites in several European languages and are looking for an experienced back-end web programmer to help us develop and implement a number of new and exiting projects.
Job description:
You will become a key member of our small but dynamic development team, working with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) technologies, video streaming, payment and content management systems, sms gateways, installation and maintenance, database/software design and development of front- and back-end for dynamic websites.
Required skills:
You will have worked with and feel comfortable developing with the following technologies:
- Server side: PHP, MySQL, Apache, Linux.
- Client side: Javascript, AJAX, XHTML and CSS.
- Others: Subversion, (Typo3 would be an advantage).
Fluent English is a must; if you have previous experience in SEO and traffic generation, Information architecture, usability engineering, project management or network security, these are all valuable.
For us web-development requires both a high level of teamwork but also a great amount of individuality. You must be able to take responsibility and deal with technical details yourself, while communicating important issues to the rest of the team. We expect that you’re able to write simple, readable and reliable code that performs well and that you’re used to honor deadlines.
